Tickled Pink
Music from Bach to Bordell

Flute & Harp
A more beautiful combination is almost impossible to imagine in the world of classical music! About 250 years ago, Mozart already composed his famous harp-flute concerto for this special combination.
Both instruments lend themselves wonderfully to, among other things, romantic repertoire, but especially let yourself be surprised by the enormous diversity: 'from Bach to Bordell'.
Tickled Pink
comes from an English expression: 'enjoyment great enough to make the recipient glow with pleasure,' or simply 'being greatly pleased.' Freely translated into Dutch, this would be 'ergens mee in je sas zijn' (being really happy with something). This is exactly how both musicians love to be on stage—thrilled with their music and eager to share that joy with their audience. With a variety of programs, the duo captivates their audience not only through their music but also by adding short anecdotes and interesting tidbits to enhance the experience.

Allow us to introduce
Flutist Linda Speulman and harpist Marije Vijselaar. Together, they form the duo Tickled Pink. Linda and Marije met each other at the Muzisch Centrum in Emmeloord in the Netherlands. In 2018, they performed together for the first time during the New Year’s concert at Schokland. Since then, the duo has performed on stages all over the country and were even invited to play on Dutch Radio 4. Both Linda and Marije have roots in the United Kingdom, where Linda studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London and Marije worked for a harp company for a few years. This is also why their concerts have an English touch.
